Today so far has started off on a good start...had an amazing boot camp workout, went to Starbucks and go tme prety yellow happy flowers. Goin to get ready for a family BBQ.

It's HOTT!!!!

The past few days have been scorching hot! I usually love the sun and laying out the pool, but not this time around. I am inside, AC going full blast, and scrapping!!!

Feels good though!

Not much is going on...just been running, scrapping, and enjoying the Summer Days. Next week is my 3-year wedding anniversary! The past 3 years have been the greatest. I do have to say I have a great hubby! Plus he has an AWESOME Wife! We just get along great, have tons of fun, and both want to acheive many things in life. The "kid" talk has come up lately and we will be "trying" in 2 years! Yup 2 years once we get back from our 5 Year anniversary Hawaii trip. By that time I should be closer to finishing school too.

In the meantime we are going to enjoy being a couple!

Happy Father's Day

Today me and the fam bam got together for Father's Day. It was fun! While my parents went and had cocktails, me and the kids hung out. We did some crafts for dad, the kids played in the water hose. Then we had a YUMMY dinner made by my mom and cake too. We watched some family flicks. Overall it was fun!

ALthough my mom was feeling a little bummed..she deals with depression so I was getting concerned about her which kinda put me in a funk. I know I can't let her depression control me but its still hurts at the same time. I just want the best for her, but she is getting better each day and lately she has had better days than bad days.

On a happy note tomorrow a friend is coming over aftework to SCRAP! I can't wait!!!!!!

Overall today was a good day.

Ready to get the week started: Gym, Work, Sleep, Stress, Be Happy, Enjoy the Summer Days, Read, and Live Life!!!!

Weekend Recap

Ok...so i am back from a wonderful summer weekend! here is a recap!

Friday: I watched Sex and the City with my favorite scrap gals! It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo GOOD!!!!! I laughed, cried and AWE!! I was very satsifed in the end!

Saturday: Spent the day with my mom. We went to the Flea Market and went and got pedicures. Towards the middle of the day I went shopping with a friend and got a dress for Vegas...it's SEXY! But not slutty..LOL Then in the evening as I was "napping" my friend called to see if I wanted to go to the New Kids on the Block concert......UM YEAH! So I told her yeah and she is getting us tixs!

Sunday: Me and the hibs went to the Art and Wine Festival! It was alot of fun...i some saw old "friends" but for sure not going to KIT! DRAMA and I just don't have time to rekindle, if you know what I mean. If we didn't remain friends maybe it was the best thing...but it was still nice to see them. I got a funky tan from my dress, drank some good vino and enjoyed being cute with the hubs.

Giving Back

Some of you may know that I am a Crisis Counselor for the Suicide and Crisis Center. If not...I am and I love it! Tonight there was a screening for new volunteers to come and see what our organization is all about. It gave me the chance to share my experience with sucicide, depression and my time there! I have been there for a year and I love it! It is truly very theraptic for me and it allows me to give back to my community and also helps me cope with my mother's depression and sucuide thoughts.

I truly beleive that I was an inspiration to the newcomers and I like that feeling.

So not to get you all depressed I just wanted to share my feelings on that. It was very rewarding and I have blessed to have the life that I have. Even with the good and bad..it only makes me stronger woman!
