Crop-tober-fest (CMK)

Yesterday I cropped with a friend and we played along at createmykeepsake.com. We enjoyed a peaceful day, gossiping, great food, great company and I got attacked by her cat! LOL

It was a fun day!

Pumpkin Festival

Yesterday was family day! We headed to the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival. It was a good start until us adults realized that it was an Art Festival. Really not our thing. The kids were able to enjoy themselves in the Arts and Craft section and ride section, but so not a place for kids. It became very stressful for us adults! We enjoyed our mimosas and wine, which help our sanity! Its a great place if you enjoy art.

Then we headed down the coast on Highway 1 and that is when all the fun really being. We went to two pumpkin patches. One was Long Ranch Saloon and Farms and the other was a farm that had an amazing corn maze. The kids really enjoyed it all. We then went to dinner at a Mexican Resturant in Scotts Valley. The food was amazing and a good way to end the day!

Girl's Night

Last night me and a friend went shopping! Well first we went to the gym since we are addicted. Then headed to our favorite mall...VALLEY FAIR!! I got some cute jeans, shoes and tops for the winter. Oh and a PINK Victoria Secret suit for our stripper dance class that is coming up! LOL

Then we headed back to her place and did facials and drank some awesome red wine and some girl talk. Heather and I have been friends since the 3rd grade! She is so awesome! She is my one friend that I can get crazy with. HEHEHE!

I feel great today!

On another good note: I GOT TO SLEEP IN TODAY! I can't even remember when I slept in and just woke up and enjoyed the morning. It's so refreshing.

I'm Back!

I just got back from Tahoe today. Me and some friends went to run the 10K...and guess what??? I beat my time. I guessed that I would finish in 1.5 hours, but nope came in at 1 hour and 12mins..wait I'm not done...in 28 degree weather, in the snow, and high altitude! YUP YUP!

Just want to brag about my news!!

I need to be cloned!

SERIOUSLY!!! If I had one wish..it would be me cloned! I say that becauase every since I started school a few weeks ago, I've been super busy! Waking up @ 5:30am to go to the gym, work 8 hours, go to school for another 3 hours, come home and be a wife, do my HW and stil make time to watch Grey's Anantomy, hang out with friends and family! AHHhh!!!

Alex made a good suggestion that I think I'm seriously going to try and that is saying NO to social events. EH! I mean I'm a total social butterfly but I should seriously consider being a homebody. That way I can focus on my study/career and not be so darn stressed out.

Then I told him what bout my fun time and he say "SCRAPBOOK!" Go figure...but honestly I think I'm going to just SAY NO!


Well off to go study and watch another episode of Grey's Season 3 (It's getting good!)

Ugh! Soreness!

I'm training to do another 12K! Yup and this time it's being held in Lake Tahoe! I've been dieting, well I should say eating better and exercising more. I feel great, but super sore today!!

Bringing it Back!

Today I went over a friend's house to scrap. The amazing part about it is she was the one friend that got me into scrapping. She has been out of the loop for quite some time....SOooooo....I was able to bring it all back for her!! We worked on an album that she is doing as a gift for a friend. Well I should say she did the scrappin and I did the drinking which equaled great minds think alike!

Then we headed to Michaels' and we went shopping and she was so overwhelmed by all the latest scrap stuff. Of course she did some damage!!

It was an honor to help her with the book! And of course I took some photos to scrap...LOL!!

Summer Ending on a Good Note

With my family we went to Comcast's Family day pinic held at Coyote Ranch. We had so much fun. It was a fun place for the kids. They had pony rides, face painting, balloon man, arts n crafts, and so much more!

So the last big event of the summer that Alex and I did was go to the Wild 949 Comedy Jam. We saw one of our favorite comedians: Carlos Mencia along with a few others. We had such a good time and laughed our butts off, even though there were some dumb people fighting! I tell ya there are some ghetto people are there!

This Summer was a great one! We did so much and now I am ready to just chill and enjoy the last days of it!

Music in the Park

Tonight I headed over with my chicka's, Alma (She's wearing the Pink shirt) and Karen (Asian Chick) and we saw Mandy Moore. It wasn't a bad concert. She can sing!

And then I ran into my bio-father!!! It was kinda freaky and good because he did not notice me. I mean we looked right at each other. It was a good thing he didn't recognize me. I haven't spoke to him in 2 years and before that is was 13 years!!!

Any hoot this evening was fun!

My Cards

So today I wanted to get started on my Thank You cards. Alex had a great idea for me to start selling my cards for $2.00-$3.00 a card. Not a bad idea. It's just I need someone to buy some. If interested let me know!

Super Fun

Yesterday Rachel and I went to the Scrapbook Expo! It was so much fun. I got some cool products and paper. We also did a cool make n take. It's a notebook with some cool paper and a clear transperecy type paper that a neat design on it. We too two classes. One was a Chipboard class which we loved! The second was done by Rusty Pickle. We made a "it's a girl thing" purse/booklet which is totally cute but so darn stressful to make. At first we thought it was going to be a photo album but once we got done it turned out it's not. Well it can be if you cut a few pictures really small.

In the end it was super fun!

MIA!

It's been awhile since I've actually took some time out to blog. A whole lot has been going on so I will sum it up quickly.

I turned 27, had a great Scrappin party with my awesome friends, goin to Raging Water, did the Beach thing,clubbin, drinking and a whole lot of scrappin! Alex and I are doing great since he is home now at a decent time. But I'll be starting school in a few weeks so I'm a little anxious about that.

All next week I'll be on vacation from work....YIPEE! It's a much needed break.

Scrappy Hour

I view a website called createmykeepsake.com on a daily basis and every Monday they have an hour called "Scrappy Hour" and it is a time where someone will host and come up with a layout that all memeber can do. Once completed you can post for others to see. Well I did mine today since I wasn't sure if I would have time tomorrow to do it. With that said here is my layout.



The theme this week was "All About You". So I decided to create a layout of me being a wife! It was fun and I love how it came out.

Java Crack?

OMG Alex and I had some coffee yesterday around 6:00pm with dessert and boy did it keep us up! TILL 3:00 AM!!! LOL I mean we usually can handle coffee late in the day but after yesterday's episode no more after 4:00pm. We keep saying I think they had some crack in it and it was some good crack (Not that we ever/nor will try it) if we had to stay up late to studying or something.

Of course today we wake up at 9:00am and we are tired as heck. But we have some pool plans with some friends so we had to get up for it.

Just thought it was hilarious and had to share!
