Just Curious...

How come I get a few hits a day and I never get any comments?? I do have some everyday readers, but it would be nice to get a comment every now and then!

Today was a tough day at work so I'm a little grumpy! But seeing my brothers and sister this evening, they have certainly put a smile on my face.

Tomorrow is the official kick-off day at my new position. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I just want to excel at this position and do a good job. I know that there are going to be some bad days like today, but if I can just find a way to not get so grumpy I think it will all work out!

Thank You Card

Here is the card I made. I must be getting better cause it took me only a few minutes to whip this up! I made it for my friend's mom since she fixed my bridesmaid dress and she did a good job at it. Also I did look great! HEHEHE

Back to School

Today was my first day at school. It was nice to have a whole month off, but I am now ready to start up again. Once this semester is over I am one step closer to SJSU!

In the meantime I have been getting ready for an upcoming scrapbook party this weekend! I have some many projects to do and I can't wait. I even got all my stuff from Stampin Up today and can't wait to put them to use.

I know have to make a Thank You card.

See Ya!

Finally!

I now have internet access!!

This past weekend was filled with b-day parties. Yesterday it was my two sisters b-day parties. We had a princess theme, make crowns, did make-up, nails, crafts, and decorated cupcakes. It was a hit. My two sisters are 24 and 4...yes a huge age break!

Then in the PM Alex and I headed to an adult b-day party. I ended up seeing alot of high school friends so in a way it was a high school reunion. That is my friend Heather and I. We've known each other since we were in 3rd grade! We've remained friends over the years. The party was sure fun. We danced, drank, drank, and oh yeah drank!

Today I am sure paying for it. But I'm going to head to my friends house for our Sunday gather to scrapbook.

Technical Problems

Hi all,

Due to not having internet at home for a few days, that is why I haven't been able to BLOG! Comcast should be fixing it real soon.

Nothing interesting has been happening. I was just in a wedding and we had so much fun, aside from the bridal party drama. I will post some pictures soon.

Spa La La

I spent a majority I my day in bed, reading, relaxing and watching tv. Then I headed to the day Lavande Day Spa in Santana Row. I meet my friend who is getting married this weekend and since I won't be able to attend her bachlorette party this Thursday I figured why not spend some time at a spa.

I got a amazing facial. They did exfoliation, extractions, a face peel, massage and other treatments for my face. I feel so relieved and relaxed.

I'm going back this Friday for my pedicure and manicure for the upcoming wedding this Saturday.

I'm vowing to spend more of Angela time at the spa. I already requested a gift card for V-day from Alex.

Happyness

Today we went to the movies with some friends and we saw the Pursuit of Happyness. It was such a good movie. It had me and my friend in tears! It's a movie that will make you feel appreciate what you have. Looking back on it I realize that there are many people out there you have it worst than us. I need to take more time and sit back and appreciate what I have and not wish that I had more.

I'm glad that I have a great family who does have issues, but in the end we all love each other. We may sometimes disagree with each other doings, but at least in the end if we needed one another all we need to do is pick up the phone.

In conclusion that movie is highly recommend. You will walk out feeling that you need to put more time in extending your help to the needy and remember never to give up on anything.

My Space

Last night my little brother and sister slept over and we had game night. We played Nick's Scene It and it was a hit! Then today I took them to a birthday party, had cake, played games, and had a great time. But as I was noticing I realized that in the last 24 hours my mind has been going stir crazy! Kids require alot of attention, well at least my siblings do, but man they keep you on your feet every minute and second of the day.

I was suppose to go have dinner with Alex's parents tonite my Alex let me stay home and relax...gotta love him for that!

With that said I am glad that I am home alone enjoying a glass of wine, and my laptop and oh I forgot....quiteness!

On another note my dad put up some shelves for me for my scrapbooking stuff. I am so thrilled. I have now space for all my supplies and now I can fix my closet back to my stuff!

Angela's Book Club

I just finished reading "The Other Woman" by Jane Green. It's about a girl name Ellie that found a perfect man, marries him and gets welcomed to the family in a overwhelming way. The mother in law is very involved in everything and the husband, Dan never sticks up for Ellie. I don't want to spill the beans but its worth reading.

I'm just glad that I have a wonderful mother in law!

Date Night #1

Tonite was our date night and it turned out really good. We started our new book "30 Secrets for Happily Married Couples". The introduction was interesting and even had a test that would see how really happy we are. Turns out we are happy, but just lacking some communication skills.

So we decided that each date nite we will read a one chapter, talk about what we've read, and apply it!

Afterwards we just watched some tv and enjoyed some hot chocolate that we received from a friend over the holiday (thanks hawaiianpunch)!!

Conclusion: IT"S GOING TO BE A FUN JOURNEY TOGETHER!

We have a great support system from our friends (thanks Ms. Heather B) and our families.

NY Resolutions

I'm sure some of you had made them. I usually don't, but for some reason this year I have. I'm going to make them more realistic and stick to them!

So here goes:

1. Work out to relieve stress (Effective Jan 7)
2. Not stress so much - HUGE ONE!!
3. Take more time out for me - Another HUGE one!
4. Work on my relationship with Alex...no we are not having issues. Just some things have faded and it is time to fix them before it leads to bigger issues. =)
5. Take more classes on scrapbook/card making (applies to #3)
6. Save more $$ for school, condo, baby (No particular order)
7. Take as many classes at SJCC so I can transfer FINALLY to State
8. Advanced more in my career (Which has already started!)
9. Lastly, enjoy my time here with my friends and family!

So all in all I think they are pretty do-able, not easy, but do-able. Wish my luck!
