It was Blissful Afterall

So after being terrible sick with my infection, I was finally able to get out of bed on Saturday and enjoy the last few days of the Christmas Holiday.

-Sunday I had a wonderfeul date with my friend Yvonne. We saw the movie PS: I Love You which was so cute. Then we had a lovely dinner at Macarroni Grill, exchanged gifts and had great conversations.

-Sunday nite me and my mom went X-mas shopping to the wee hours of the night, but I got everything I needed to get.

Monday-Celebrated Christmas Eve with my family and the kids make Sugar Cookies. That was fulfilling to see all the kids faces light up with excitement as they were mixing the dough.

Christmas Day- Was very relaxing. We opened gift and me and Alex enjoyed playing with the kids toys! LOL Afterwards Alex and I came home and just cozied up in our X-mas jammies on the couch and watch some TV and I baked some cookies for us.

Now I'm just dreading the moment that I have to wake up for work! UGH! Not really sure what diaster I'm going to walk in. But I do sure hope that it's not hell because I just got out of that with me being sick for a whole week! I know I sound bitter but I have my reasons.

With that said I am thankful that I was able to have a nice holiday afterall. Didn't get to do any of my traditions, but it sure was nice to be with my family and create more memories together.

Ok so I would not usually post something like this but since I am on bed rest and bored out of my MIND i figured why not!

So I ended up having a bacterial infection on my buttocks for the past week. At first I figured that it was a bug bite, but I was wrong. It got so infected that I had to have a minor sugery yesterday morning to get it all cleaned out and let me tell you I have never been in so much pain in my life. I was screaming my head off that they almost had to drug me. I mean they numbed my butt but still!! To top that off I have to have the area cleaned twice a day and that is a huge pain in the ass...literally!!!!

Now it's getting much better but still sore and I am not able to sit on my butt. I never watched so much tv in my life! Alex has been great! He as been there for me and I think he is even getting annoyed with me. LOL

I never thought I would say this but I am so looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.


So my advice to you is to always wash your hand, use toilet seat covers, and never ever share athletic equipment!!! I beleive that I got it at the gym. SUCKS!!

And to makes matters worst this whole weekend was suppose to be filled with holiday stuff, but did not happen. No tree, no shopping, and no family day. =( I am really looking forward for the hoidays to end. It has not been jolly for me.

It's Starting to Feel Like Christmas

I finally got to have some free time to get in the spirit. I got to decorate our little apartment with a few things that I have bought and I got together with a friend to make Christmas gifts. They came out so cute. I can't post just yet because a few of readers will be getting one. ;>

This upcoming Saturday we are getting our Christmas tree so that will be super exciting!

This past Friday was Alex's holiday party from work. We had such a great time! I even got to get all dressed up which is so rare for me. Man it's alot of work to get all dressed up for a big event! But it sure was fun playing dress-up.

The Lastest

Well I have been busy with stuff (as usual) so I haven't been able to blog. But today I have time!

First I got a new haircut. It's not drastic but I love it.




Then for Thanksgiving Alex and I along with some friends did a 10K. I ran 6 miles in an hour and Alex came in at 45 minutes! It was so much fun. For dinner we went to my in-laws and that was nice.

Today I have a little cold so I'm just resting but bored at the same time. Not in the mood to scrap. Figures right!

Santa Came Early

Alex bought me a new laptop for Christmas! It is so pretty and has all the features I needed and wanted. Like Windows Vista, MS Excel and Word, and a few other thingys.

I told him not to get me anything else. But knowing him he will. Loves to take care of his princess!

Life is Good Life

I'm currently having a good glass of red vino, listening to Britney's new CD, which is pretty good, and I'm baking cupcakes for work tomorrow. Isn't life great! I'm learning to enjoy these moments.

I have to work on my brother and sister's pumpkin pails and fill them with treats.

Crop-tober-fest (CMK)

Yesterday I cropped with a friend and we played along at createmykeepsake.com. We enjoyed a peaceful day, gossiping, great food, great company and I got attacked by her cat! LOL

Pumpkin Festival

Yesterday was family day! We headed to the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival. It was a good start until us adults realized that it was an Art Festival. Really not our thing. The kids were able to enjoy themselves in the Arts and Craft section and ride section, but so not a place for kids. It became very stressful for us adults! We enjoyed our mimosas and wine, which help our sanity! Its a great place if you enjoy art.

Then we headed down the coast on Highway 1 and that is when all the fun really being. We went to two pumpkin patches. One was Long Ranch Saloon and Farms and the other was a farm that had an amazing corn maze. The kids really enjoyed it all. We then went to dinner at a Mexican Resturant in Scotts Valley. The food was amazing and a good way to end the day!

Girl's Night

Last night me and a friend went shopping! Well first we went to the gym since we are addicted. Then headed to our favorite mall...VALLEY FAIR!! I got some cute jeans, shoes and tops for the winter. Oh and a PINK Victoria Secret suit for our stripper dance class that is coming up! LOL

Then we headed back to her place and did facials and drank some awesome red wine and some girl talk. Heather and I have been friends since the 3rd grade! She is so awesome! She is my one friend that I can get crazy with. HEHEHE!

I feel great today!

I'm Back!

I just got back from Tahoe today. Me and some friends went to run the 10K...and guess what??? I beat my time. I guessed that I would finish in 1.5 hours, but nope came in at 1 hour and 12mins..wait I'm not done...in 28 degree weather, in the snow, and high altitude! YUP YUP!

I need to be cloned!

SERIOUSLY!!! If I had one wish..it would be me cloned! I say that becauase every since I started school a few weeks ago, I've been super busy! Waking up @ 5:30am to go to the gym, work 8 hours, go to school for another 3 hours, come home and be a wife, do my HW and stil make time to watch Grey's Anantomy, hang out with friends and family! AHHhh!!!

Alex made a good suggestion that I think I'm seriously going to try and that is saying NO to social events. EH! I mean I'm a total social butterfly but I should seriously consider being a homebody. That way I can focus on my study/career and not be so darn stressed out.

Then I told him what bout my fun time and he say "SCRAPBOOK!" Go figure...but honestly I think I'm going to just SAY NO!


Well off to go study and watch another episode of Grey's Season 3 (It's getting good!)

Ugh! Soreness!

I'm training to do another 12K! Yup and this time it's being held in Lake Tahoe! I've been dieting, well I should say eating better and exercising more. I feel great, but super sore today!!

Bringing it Back!

Today I went over a friend's house to scrap. The amazing part about it is she was the one friend that got me into scrapping. She has been out of the loop for quite some time....SOooooo....I was able to bring it all back for her!! We worked on an album that she is doing as a gift for a friend. Well I should say she did the scrappin and I did the drinking which equaled great minds think alike!

Then we headed to Michaels' and we went shopping and she was so overwhelmed by all the latest scrap stuff. Of course she did some damage!!

It was an honor to help her with the book! And of course I took some photos to scrap...LOL!!

Summer Ending on a Good Note

With my family we went to Comcast's Family day pinic held at Coyote Ranch. We had so much fun. It was a fun place for the kids. They had pony rides, face painting, balloon man, arts n crafts, and so much more!

So the last big event of the summer that Alex and I did was go to the Wild 949 Comedy Jam. We saw one of our favorite comedians: Carlos Mencia along with a few others. We had such a good time and laughed our butts off, even though there were some dumb people fighting! I tell ya there are some ghetto people are there!

This Summer was a great one! We did so much and now I am ready to just chill and enjoy the last days of it!

Music in the Park

Tonight I headed over with my chicka's, Alma (She's wearing the Pink shirt) and Karen (Asian Chick) and we saw Mandy Moore. It wasn't a bad concert. She can sing!

And then I ran into my bio-father!!! It was kinda freaky and good because he did not notice me. I mean we looked right at each other. It was a good thing he didn't recognize me. I haven't spoke to him in 2 years and before that is was 13 years!!!

Any hoot this evening was fun!

My Cards

So today I wanted to get started on my Thank You cards. Alex had a great idea for me to start selling my cards for $2.00-$3.00 a card. Not a bad idea. It's just I need someone to buy some. If interested let me know!

Super Fun

Yesterday Rachel and I went to the Scrapbook Expo! It was so much fun. I got some cool products and paper. We also did a cool make n take. It's a notebook with some cool paper and a clear transperecy type paper that a neat design on it. We too two classes. One was a Chipboard class which we loved! The second was done by Rusty Pickle. We made a "it's a girl thing" purse/booklet which is totally cute but so darn stressful to make. At first we thought it was going to be a photo album but once we got done it turned out it's not. Well it can be if you cut a few pictures really small.

In the end it was super fun!

It's been awhile since I've actually took some time out to blog. A whole lot has been going on so I will sum it up quickly.

I turned 27, had a great Scrappin party with my awesome friends, goin to Raging Water, did the Beach thing,clubbin, drinking and a whole lot of scrappin! Alex and I are doing great since he is home now at a decent time. But I'll be starting school in a few weeks so I'm a little anxious about that.

All next week I'll be on vacation from work....YIPEE! It's a much needed break.

Scrappy Hour

I view a website called createmykeepsake.com on a daily basis and every Monday they have an hour called "Scrappy Hour" and it is a time where someone will host and come up with a layout that all memeber can do. Once completed you can post for others to see. Well I did mine today since I wasn't sure if I would have time tomorrow to do it. With that said here is my layout.



The theme this week was "All About You". So I decided to create a layout of me being a wife! It was fun and I love how it came out.

Java Crack?

OMG Alex and I had some coffee yesterday around 6:00pm with dessert and boy did it keep us up! TILL 3:00 AM!!! LOL I mean we usually can handle coffee late in the day but after yesterday's episode no more after 4:00pm. We keep saying I think they had some crack in it and it was some good crack (Not that we ever/nor will try it) if we had to stay up late to studying or something.

Of course today we wake up at 9:00am and we are tired as heck. But we have some pool plans with some friends so we had to get up for it.

Just thought it was hilarious and had to share!

I'm Official

As of yesterday I am now a volunteer for the Suicide and Crisis Center. I am so glad that I am going to be a part of such an important organization. I can't wait to get on my first shift which is this upcoming Saturday!

As for Alex he just earned his blue belt last Thursday in Jujitsu. After months of saying I'll go see him in action, well I did and I must say I am very proud of my hubs. He does a good job and can kick some ass, well TAP OUT I should say. LOL

Tomorrow we are celebrating our 2-Year wedding anniversary.

I Heart Spring

So far the Spring season has been good. I've been training to be a Suicide and Crisis voluteer for a hotline. I have comitted 3 full weekends to training and a one day out of the week. It's has been such a learning experience. I'm loving it and at the same time I have been learning alot about myself.

I've been doing some changes in my life lately. Good ones too.

I've also been doing some scrapping, baking, laying out by the pool, finished two books, even gone camping with my family in the backyard. That was fun. It sure felt like we out in the wilderness too!

Some I have been lacking due to work and school. I have devoted this summer to do what I love!

I hope everyone is having a nice season!

Pool Party Time

Today we are having friends come over for a pool party. Nothing big..just a BBQ, Cocktails, and laying out in the sun. I just hope that it's warm enough since my friend and I will be wearing bikini's.

Speaking of bikini's I had a meltdown on Monday because I came home from the gym and felt great so I though I should try on my suits from last year. After trying on 3 I found one that fit perfectly, but I still was not satisfied. I guess as you get older your body changes in a bad way. I mean I don't think I am fat or anything like that it's just I was hoping to look like I did when I was 21!! LOL

I tried the suit on again and I feel better because I feel confident enough to wear the suit and that will make me look great! I just have to work with what my momma gave me! LOL

Week-END!

It has come to an end and boy was it fast!

Yesterday I spent the day with my mom, auntie, and brother's and sister. We started the day at Sonoma Chicken Coop in Campbell. We had their champagne brunch. It was OKAY! I was hoping for a more fancy set-up, but it was basically order your breakfast and then go to the bar side and order your champagne SEPARATELY!

Afterwards we walked the Farmer's Market. The kids enjoyed it very much. We also discovered a recycled book store. Readers that we are we had to go in there. Of course we all purchased a book. They even had updated Chick Lit! I was impressed and will most likely going back. We also discovered a lady who makes and sells cute jewelry for really cheap. Of course we had to purchase some jewelry!

After the shopping we headed to the Campbell Park so the kids could play. We had ice-cream, made a castle, well at least attempted to, Raymond went on a swing. He loved it!

It was a nice day to be out and about!

I then headed to the scrapbook store to pick up a few things and then came home and did some scrapbooking.

Today was a much lighter day. We pretty much napped all day and I watched the Soparanos Marathon. It's a good show too. We just finished having a nice dinner on the patio and enjoyed the birds and nice weather.

Start of the 3-Day Weekend

First let me just say where did the day go!?!?!

All I did today was have a yard sale, then came home napped, then woke-up and did some scrapbooking. And now it's 9:15pm!!

I sure the rest of the weekend does not go by fast!

School's Out!!!!!

Last night was my last class for 3 full months!

Which means I can just chill! Do more what I enjoy. =)

I have a few projects lined up: do more baking,read a few books, scrapbooking, Sundays by the pool with some beer (LOL) and just relaxing my brain.

So here's to a good summer!

I Did It!

Yesterday Alex and I completed the 7.5 miles Bay to Breakers race in 1.5 hours! It was fun and rewarding. I never though that I could do a race. I mean I love working out, but I never thought I could do a race. To top if off I ran the whole thing! GO ME!

It was a crazy event. We saw ugly, gross naked men, dirty girls trying to be cute, and it just seemed that if you were a non-runner you were there to look silly and be drunk. Just not my style of being creative and having fun. All in all it was fun!

I am now going to prep myself for the Wharf to Wharf and the San Jose Rock and Roll half marathon.

Next year Alex and I would LOVE to do the Boston Marathon!

I guess I am now an offical runner!
