The Latest

I haven't been bloggin since I have been super busy. Work, School, and Leisure...but let me see if I can sum it up...This past saturday I went to the Expo with some friends and it was so much fun. I bought some embellishments, paper, some kits, and got a few ideas for some upcoming layouts. I also took a class and I made some cute cards. I even managed to make one for my friend, Lori, who was unable to attend the class with us. =) I also managed to stick with my budget. YAY for me.

Then in the PM we went to two parties. First it was going to be just one, but then we got invited to drinks for St. Patrick's Day. That was fun and got to meet some new people.

All the while I've been busy with work, catching up with school and trying to prep for an upcoming party that I am hosting this Friday.

Also....Alex got the job at Comcast! He officially starts Monday. It's a good move for him and I, but the bad news is he is taking a huge cut in pay. But things should be fine, tight, but fine for the next couple of months. But hey that is what date nights are for!

At least summer is a few weeks away and we really don't have any major events coming up. We are going to be just spending more time inside and we have a few free things lined up as well.

So...........yeah as you can see I am super busy. I so need an Angela Day! Although I have a scrapbook date with my girls this Sunday that I am looking forward to!

Forgot to Mention....

That I went to see the Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguliera on Thursday with some friends. It was an awesome concert.

Now if I ever had the chance to become a PCD dancer....OMG I would so do it! LOL They are awesome dancers and some hott chicks!

Now Christina she can sing. She gave us an awesome concert. She sang alot of her songs from her Back to Basic cd and redid some of her old songs. She is even more classier and has really matured. Her Dirty Days are long gone!

What a Great Weekend!

Yesterday I started my day with a nice run, then did some prep work for the afternoon. I made some cookies and tasty fruit punch drink. Then my friend Rachel came over and we took a trip to Joanne's Fabrics. We picked up our items for our scrapbook bags and even a few $1 items for scrapbooking. We came back and made a few cards and then the rest of the crew minus Melissa and we made our bags for the Scrapbook Expo next weekend. We are all excited about the big event!

In the evening I continued to make more cards. Total=10. All so cute!

Today we woke up and just laid around and then went for a nice walk (hour long, but I'm not sure how many miles). Alex agreed to train me every Sunday for my marathon and to get back into the gym thing. In return I agreed to cook w/him every Sunday. Now if you know me you know that I do not like to cook. But since he is going to work with me I can work with him.

The fun thing about it is I can come up with the recipes!

Again another healthy, stress-free and relaxing weekend!

Fitness Queen

Check out the book that I made to keep track of my workouts, eating process, and feelings of my new journey to fitness. I will treat it like my bible and I'll have to carry it in my purse.

Michelle and I had an awesome workout. I can already see a change!

This will motivate me even more now. I just love it!

My New Tool

I just ordered this item online at HSN.com. Comes with tons of eyelets, a case, and of course the tool. They are currently on air and having 2 hours of scrapbook items.

I'm so excited. But I can't spend no more on supplies since I am on a STRICT budget. I'm waiting till the Expo which is in two weeks.

My Plate

Isn't it cute!

Here are the steps to making your own.

Materials:
Glass Plate
Mod Podge
Foam Brush
Fabric (Fat Quarter)

Steps:
1. Wash and Dry Plate
2. Iron Fabric
3. Place plate face down on fabric and trace around the plate
4. Cut fabric
5. Brush Mod Podge on back of plate
6. Then lay fabric over, Coat again with Mod Podge
7. Allow about an hour to dry
8. Enjoy!

This was an easy project to do. I will be making more for gifts for Easters, Birthdays and Mother's Day. I can't wait to make another.

What A Productive Weekend

Even though I've had a huge headache this past few days I still managed to get up and get things done. I think my energy is because of the spring like weather.

Yesterday I started my training for the Bay to Breakers Marathon and bikini season! Michelle and I ran around Vasona Lake and walked to Jamba and walked back. Then we did some Pilates. It sure was a good way to start a Saturday. Then I came home, did some crafts, watched TV and even managed to take a nap. Then in the evening Alex and I along with the kiddies went to grandmas for dinner. Afterwards we came home and watch Babel. Now let me tell you that was a good movie. It was sad but still good at the same time.

Today we woke up..I'm super sore from my workout. We headed to the grocery store and I got these pretty yellow tulips for the bedroom and living room. I am now off to make my mod podge plate. I will post a photo when it's completed.

I'll Always Heart Starbucks

A Peet's Coffee just opened up in the Downtown area. Walking distant from my office. So today a few of my co-workers and I walked over and got a free coffee! It was their way of saying networking. Although Starbucks will always be my favorite, even though lately my Dolce Latte haven't been that good, I will just use Peet's for their tea. I tried a Jasmine tea and it was good. Gave me that extra boost I needed for the afternoon and it was FREE!

I don't think I'll be converting anytime soon to Peet's, but will go there for some tea.
